I've been collaborating with the Lister Hill Health Policy Ambassador Program to address the issue surrounding the requirement for physician signatures on sports physicals. Rest assured; we haven't abandoned this issue. While it's not legislative in nature, but rather an AHSAA Bylaw rule, we continue to work towards persuading AHSAA to reconsider these bylaws.

We continue to urge every NP in the state to establish connections with their district House and Senate legislators. By engaging with our district legislators and sharing our professional experiences, challenges, and contributions to healthcare in their districts, we can better inform them about the role of NPs and how the state can support us in addressing healthcare issues.
